Half awake and before even looking at the sub, my brain immediately thought these were spells in Harry Potter. 🤣
at this point i wholly despise joanne for making “magic = latin” the cultural default, for this precise reason
can’t even read genuine actual historically used latin without part of my brain going “haha weird hogwarts spell haha”
