There’s more living bacteria inside of you than you, and it will eat your decomposing corpse if you let it. Embalming or creamation will kill what remains of you after your brain dies.

We say it thats way for the benefit of the British.
Capitalism is not just commerce. Capitalism is the idea that you can buy control of a market and use the leverage of your investments (capital) to gain outsized profits off the value of the labors of others.
For sure, there are capitalists in the black market drug trade, but there are also socialists (where the laborers have a greater protected share of the value they generate) and fascists, where violent force is the leverage used to gain profits. I’m not suggesting the black market was good, but it did have the side effect that corporations and politicians could not publicly use their positions of power to capture the markets.
Your local weed dealer is probably out of business, or has graduated to other illicit sales. It’s the same thing that happened to mom and pop shops in every town when superstores and the internet crowded them out of business.
Capitalism never made anything better.
Like when that dipshit millionaire thought he could start over with nothing and be making a million dollars within a year, and then he had to “give up” at like 5 months in because his dad got sick and he was basically homeless living off the kindness of people he knew when he was rich. And he claimed it was a success.
I feel like the Undercover Boss concept was underdeveloped. I wanted to see a “boss” actually live on the wages they paid, find a place to rent, buy groceries and pay utilities, and basically swap lives with an employee for 6 months. Then at the end of 6 months, the employee gets to decide if they want to swap back.
Good enough for what? Obedient to whom? Deviating from what? What the fuck are you talking about?
My favorite moment from the old Batman animated show was when the rogues were sitting around telling their stories about how they almost got Batman. Actually, I wouldn’t do it justice, just watch it here:

Of course there’s a twist at the end that changes the moment a bit, but it was still hilarious.
Batman is the world’s greatest detective. His villains need to compete on an intellectual level, and in fiction a doctorate is short-hand for “smart” and “an expert in the field.”
You sound like my kids.
Dad jokes are best when you come up with them with your kids in the house, because then they are home groan.
Eh, I’ve never found that to be a necessity. You got the same info either way.
I think there’s a fine line between victim-blaming and identifying an object lesson. We all understand why people started using twitter, and people are creatures of habit. But this is an example of why people should stop using twitter. We’re not saying “this is your fault because you’re stupid if you’re still on twitter.” The message is “this should serve as a wake up call to anyone stuck in their habits.”
Probably, but that’s not what this lawsuit was about.
This one, the youtuber claimed that Mitchell was partly responsible for the suicide of another youtuber.
And annoying because everyone, regardless of their political belief, thinks they are the second person.

Every crisis is an opportunity.
Just don’t try to tell me it’s fucking “uncured.”
I hate.
I hate bigotry. I hate intolerance. I hate those who would control us. I hate apathy and oppotunism. I hate narcissism. I hate the people who choose ignorance. I hate the people who manipulate the stupid for their own benefit.
My hatred is earned through choices that people make.
