Obey the walrus
I’ve always preferred “suspish”
This is a fantastic idea. I really love the decentralization of Lemmy, but I do feel the side effects of having many copies of the same subject on different instances.
And to your point, I’d love for niche communities to have a larger audience. I need somewhere to post and read about project zomboid.
Well done
I see what you’re getting at - if we’re gonna allow our citizens freedom of speech, this is part of what it looks like. For the record, these dumb ass takes on my LGBTQ+ peeps do NOT align with my own personal feelings. However, freedom of speech is objectively a good thing.
Problem is that entities like Meta and X are suppressing the voices of people that are making comments against the status quo and challenging the uber rich, and elevating the voices of the bigots.
All that to say I think that’s why people are downvoting you, but I agree with you.
Wallace or Shiloh.
I second the motion of making the Louisiana Refund real.
I’ve avoided this thread for a bit because I assumed there’d be a bunch of dick jokes. I was pleasantly surprised with a bunch of thoughtful and awesome comments. Fucking love the nerdiness of this community.
To answer the question - there’s a number of them, but i think the first one for me was Fable: The Lost Chapters. It added a ton of new content on top of the base game, plus there were a good amount of extra side quests, challenges, puzzles, collectibles, etc, that I got so much beautiful and memorable gameplay from it.
It does feel like games nowadays are made to appeal to the masses and/or pump out a lot of games as quickly as possible in order to generate as much money as possible. Fortunately indie game studios and devs still exist for people that are looking for a little more substance. Shout out to the Indie Stone for Project Zomboid and their continued efforts to add more awesome features to their game!!
I agree, but i can’t help but wonder if the internet changes this.
Thanks for sharing. This gave me a new perspective on the match.
Can’t tell if this comment is fucking hilarious or fucking disturbing…
Your partner must not be very good at wrestling if you were browsing lemmy during a sesh.
It was in my house growing up quite a few times. Granted, my mom is Mexican but my dad was white/American. They both loved that shit.
I completely agree, but I’ve never been able to articulate it this well. Do you have any scary movie recommendations? I’ve got a feeling we have similar taste.
What the hell is that image up top
Project Zomboid!! I love this game. I go through bursts of being addicted to it for a couple of months and then dropping it for several months before picking it back up again. Excited for Build 42!
We had a little basket thingy with books and magazines. Stuff like Calvin & Hobbes, I Spy books, Popular Science magazines, etc.
Mine was “daschund”. I always thought that was a separate breed from a “doxen”.
Even after being educated on how the word is actually pronounced, I still purposefully pronounce it literally “daschund”. Fuck 'em - should’ve spelled it better.
Idk why but I’ve always legit found this guy sexy. Am I broken?
