I don’t think $500 for a Switch 2 and Mario Kart World is outrageous at all.

We already use a barter system. We exchange our goods and services for other goods and services. Money is just a medium for when a direct exchange isn’t practical or possible.

Hell yeah brother, sign me up for that Mario Kart bundle.

British food gets a bad rap but I don’t really get it. Fried fish, potatoes, roasted meat, cured meat, meat pies, lots of puddings and sweets, not to mention the Indian food. What’s not to like? I’m going to the UK in October and I’m pumped for the food.

Maybe God created the speed of light to keep players region-locked.

And all goods and services require some amount of humans putting in work in order for them to be provided. Nothing is truly 100% automated yet.

But labor is a necessity to survive, and always has been. We need the production of goods and services. Of course the distribution of wealth and goods is also an issue, but somebody (or something) has to produce the things we use.

Not yet, but it’s an interesting thought experiment if nothing else. Someday, thanks to advances in robotics and computers, human labor will become largely obsolete. So the question is how do we structure our society when that happens?

Hit the gym, stop eating so many sweets.

Goldeneye. Revolutionized the FPS genre at the time. Nigh unplayable now. Tried recently using both NSO and on an original N64, it just hasn’t aged well when compared to something modern.

You’re supposed to disregard it. Just boil enough pasta for however many servings you want, a serving of dry pasta is 60g. Why are you using a recipe for spaghetti?

I got the YouTube premium family plan a long time ago. Been worth every penny for the amount of YouTube we watch.

I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but if there was one streaming service I was gonna pay for it’d be YT premium. You can pirate everything else pretty easily.
