As I said, it isn’t about making things better it is about hurting something you don’t personally like.

And right here is why I will never be on board with this idea. You don’t want to make people better at using the tech or companies to do a better job with it, you want your revenge on them. It isn’t about being greater it is about constraining success.

Kids need to be able to leave their last words when a school shooter comes. If the government is going to ban phones they should at least allow old school audio recorders. While we are at it might be a good policy to require school IDs to be in shoes at all times so children dead bodies can be identified faster.

Not sure how related this is but in my field, designing industrial control systems, each seperate physical button is about $100 added to the cost over a touchscreen. We call touchscreens HMIs just to be special and sound smart. I imagine the numbers are very similar for cars but I don’t have data to back that up.

You know it really doesn’t matter because there is no way anyone eating eggs on the regular hasn’t had a fertilized one at least once. Chickens need to be mated to start producing eggs and quail eggs are often sold fertilized.
