  • You have outright just lied. In 2021 they had a domestic argument, and she filled a protective order as a precautionary measure. There was no abuse and the argument was mediated via a marriage councilor. Jennifer Vasquez Sura emphasized that the protective order was not an indication that she was abused.

    DISHONEST AMERICAN INTERLOCUTOR,

If you are going to lie at least make an effort to make it believable

  • How would you make that determination without a trial? What evidence was there that this man that was sent is a gang member that committed a crime? Just because someone was sent to this jail does not retro-actively make them guilty. The man in question was literally a refugee, and was given asylum specifically because he was, and why the judge demanded his return. So yes he is innocent just like the Japanese and Jews. He was also sent there without a trial. he was also sent there only because his group affiliation by race and nationality that the government finds problematic. That checks more than the necessary boxes to label the prison a concentration camp.

  • Concentration camps are not the same as the Holocaust, that is a category error. The us has had concentration camps, not that they were justified.

    concentration camp

    noun

    1. A camp where persons are confined, usually without hearings and typically under harsh conditions, often as a result of their membership in a group the government has identified as suspect.
    2. A place or situation characterized by extremely harsh conditions.
    3. A camp where large numbers of persons—such as [political prisoners] [prisoners of war] [refugees]—are detained for the purpose of concentrating them in one place.

My identification of concentration camp in this regard is definitionally correct. The best type of correct.

  • The label may be formulated by someone else with what ever agenda. But it’s up to you to accept the label as is. If you want to use the label, but explain exceptions, then you are expected to provide that context. I don’t see why that should be a problem

If someone else attaches a label to you, then you’re going to have to explain why you differ.

The use of the label is too short cut to understanding, so if after you lay out your beliefs if someone calls you a nazi, and you counter that you don’t argue for the supremacy of germany, understanding using the label is still acheived, and may still be warranted

In essence, all language is labels on understanding. You start with the simple and dig into the minutia only when needed.

Why big word when small word do?

  • Wow, ok. This blog does not indicate any reason for it’s decline. I guess, someday for some reason Steam will be abandoned, nothing lasts forever. But the criticisms it does bring is

    • steam got sued by Australia in 2014 because they did not offer refunds. Except neither did anyone else.
    • Steam takes 30% of the profit. Yet the author even agreed that the competitor Epic games Store does not offer as good a shopping experience, does not have the player base, and the author does not mention all the other amenities valves offers.
    • epic games store reports they do not make a profit at 12% and failed to mention that a lot of the disdain of EGS is how they treated customers
    • the author states that steam market dominance is a monopoly. That game makers are FORCED to use steam due to steam holding its customer reach behind its service. Which is a terrible take. These game makers could publish on their own! They could publish on GOG or EGS. Gamers are free to choose their platform and so is game makers, and the fact that steams platform is so good its become the defacto PC game launcher, is a value to those shopping for a launcher. I literally bought some games outside of steam because they launched independently.
