Is there a lot of drama between mobile OS developers? I’m not really in those circles, I had no idea.

I just kicked the last of our manually requested certs off our servers and replaced them with auto renewing short term certs. Replacing certs every year is a job I won’t miss.

Soon as corporations and “investors” provide their own wealth instead of extracting it from society.

Of course if Google was the Google of 10+ years ago and actually provides you with relevant, good search results instead of ad infested dribble that would help.

I played the original CastleVania (Vampire Killer) back in the 8 bit days and silksong is among my top 5 favorite games of the decade I’d say. It’s not technically revolutionary maybe but the gameplay is tweaked to near perfection, and the art style and FromSoftware style storytelling is just wonderful. Of course that’s a matter of taste.

Yep and it’s much easier and cheaper just to send in a bunch of drones that end up killing a few hundred innocents than to send in special forces that find the target with precision. And that in turn would be a lot easier than to stop actively funding regional genocide and try to calm the situation down diplomatically.

It’s not like there hasn’t been (and there isn’t currently) reporting that’s critical of US foreign policy but this kind of foreign policy has been going on continually for our entire lifetimes (and before) There have been protests and complaints. But in the end the vast majority of us care more about our daily lives than some kid in Yemen being bombed, especially when it feels like we can’t do anything about it. So we move on.

Obviously it’s not right but as a society we’ve all decided we just don’t care enough to do anything about it.
