My best guess is that they hope some agriculture or GMO company might have a use for it. Basically crops + future theme. Maybe they were trying to stand out from the likely vastly more common corn + person in lab coat?

1·2 years agoAgree. I suspect that the UX challenge of the Fediverse as well as the fact that you’d largely only migrate here if you’re ideologically displeased with the admins means that people on this site skew more mature.
