Why would you take that away from my comment? I meant Rastafari is derived from Christianity and uses cannabis in groundings which is the closest parallel to the sacrament in other Christian sects.
Did these sound like the actions of a man who had all he could eat?
I’ve tried PopOS as I have a machine with an Nvidia card but every tine I’ve done the first apt upgrade it nukes grub and won’t boot again. Probably something I’m doing wrong and it has been a couple of years since I last tried.
Debian, on servers and a desktop. I spent a long time using Ubuntu so I’m used to APT and Debian is suitably lightweight for my not amazing hardware. I also like the non rolling nature of it.
My cat hurt his leg and was limping for a while. I thought it was taking a long time to heal and eventually realised that he was still limping in front of me and walking normally when he thought nobody could see him, I’m guessing on the off chance that people would feel sorry for him and give him food.
My country banned smoking in all public indoor spaces almost 20 years ago. As a smoker at the time I thought it was ridiculous, felt that my rights were being violated and thought it would never last. The quality of life improvement it made is massive. Today I vape rather than smoke but wouldn’t dream of doing either indoors or being where someone else is. It was 100% the right move. Not quite the same thing but you sometimes can’t really understand the benefits of an alternative to the status quo, even if you understand it logically.
Hmm. I think the act of collecting the logins would still be technically fraudulent but depending on how the laws are reworked making an exact copy of the site and then possession of the data might be perfectly legal.
Though I imagine if this did become a reality then tech-bro dickflicks like these two would lobby to slant the laws to avoid allowing something like that in order to protect their interests.
Aha, yes, thank you. Now this makes sense. I knew something about this made me incredibly uneasy, just couldn’t figure it out.
“Guys, if you just give me all your stuff I can make a real AGI this time that’ll solve all of your problems.”
I imagine having all that data to crunch would also lead to them having an even bigger monopoly on the world’s compute and energy supply so they can better calculate the optimum method to sell you more crap.
Part of me likes the sound of that, well most of it actually, but there has to be a grift here I’m not seeing. What could be their end game?
Please tell me you gave him the bunny ears and if so where I can purchase this masterpiece.
I take it you’re not a fan of Obscurest Vinyl
Something is making me suspect this is AI generated, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.
That’s a pretty long pencil
I remember people used to say £50 notes were easier to forge compared to the others. Not sure if that was because of something about the note itself or because people saw them less and weren’t as used to them. Either way people became wary of accepting them. Plus it can be a pain to make change, especially when a lot of people pay with card now.
Yea, jellied eels are only really eaten on a small section of the south coast. The rest of the country wouldn’t go for that.
True, but those are peas in the pic friend
Dale, you giblet hand
