I am about to switch over to this setup from a Roku myself. I had seen recommendations for Flauncher, but I’m glad to see another launcher recommendation. I will have to try out Project Ivy. Thanks!

KDE for sure. The modern versions look exactly like how I want a desktop environment to look out of the box, and they keep the full range of customizability that a desktop should, IMO, allow it’s users to have. Which is something Windows just kept slowly getting rid of over the years.
I also prefer to have a taskbar that is ever present with a traditional start menu that’s cleanly organized by category rather than the current full screen pop up “activities” search thing gnome does nowadays.
The “without being signed in” part of YouTube is now no longer completely true. I tried to watch a video tutorial at work the other day and it wouldn’t play because I wasn’t signed in and so “they couldn’t be sure I wasn’t a bot”. I’m not signing into any personal stuff on my work computer, or wasting time creating a “work” Google account, so I guess YT can no longer be a place where I can get helpful programming info.
With Valve pumping all that development money and effort into proton, I will finally be able to go full Linux before Windows 10 ends it’s life. I only needed it for gaming, but those days are finally gone! Thanks Valve! _
Velocipastor is so much better than it has any right to be.
Helen Keller vs. Night Wolves has the most hilarious opening song and is the very definition of a B movie.
Super Hybrid is another B movie that has no right to be as good as it is. Highly recommend.
As mentioned in some other comments Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead is an absolutely ridiculous romp from Troma.
