/config is just a folder where you put vpn config files. Would you mind sharing your docker compose file.
Yes, I only want to use a VPN. However, when I turn on a VPN, I encounter several other problems. For instance, I have difficulty consistently verifying that I’m not a bot on most websites. Additionally, YouTube videos don’t play at all unless I’m logged in.
It’s not available for Mac unfortunately.
The Docker version you’re using supports VPN? I used VPN+QBit Docker on my old Unraid server. You just put the VPN configuration file in the /config folder, and it worked seamlessly without disrupting any other services.
I have seen some people mention using a vm as an alternative. I’m not familiar with how it would work.
I have also tried using OpenVPN and WireGuard with AirVPN; however, Mac versions do not have the split tunnel feature at all.
I find Libreoffice to be bloated, so I prefer using OnlyOffice instead, which is lightweight.
Yeah I use Filen with Nextcloud as a backup. It’s not the best but does the job. Better than most of the corporate ones
I was also considering trying out CasaOS/ZimaOS until I came across this.
Nazis and the fake Jews fighting antisemitism, ah, totally makes sense.
If you mainly do torrenting, AirVPN is a good option. I have recently moved away from ProtonVPN; it’s too expensive.
It’s on aurora store or you can directly download it from their GitHub.
Yeah the Google captcha keeps getting in the way. I use GrayJay as an alternative.
Oh, you’re right! The developer explained it really well. I mostly use Voyager as my main Lemmy client on all my devices, but I use Arctic just for checking out trending topics. Maybe Arctic has more funding or something.
I hope so (:
Well, it keeps you up to date with trending topics without having to open the app itself. You can quickly glance at your notifications. Saving you a lot of time.
No one supports your terrorist state of Isreal
This feature is a must-have for me. I’ve been searching for a Lemmy client for Android that has this feature, but none of them do. Only Arctic for Lemmy that does have this feature.
I just don’t bother requesting because the response I usually get is that Lemmy doesn’t officially support push notifications, and it’s quite a complex process to implement.
Hopefully they add push notifications for posts, similar to Apollo for Reddit push notifications feature:
“Apollo for Reddit had a feature called “Threshold Notifications”, which allowed users to set up notifications for when a post reached a certain number of upvotes. This was useful for tracking the popularity of a post without constantly checking Reddit.
For example, you could configure Apollo to notify you if a specific post or thread reached 1,000 upvotes. This feature was particularly helpful for keeping an eye on trending content”
Does anyone know of a client for AirVPN that supports the split tunnel feature? I’ve been using the Eddie client, but when I enable the VPN, I can’t watch YouTube videos because they require me to sign in, which I’d rather not do. I’m looking for a way to exclude my browser from the VPN.
