Ooohhh that makes a lot more sense now

You miss the point. There are no other sources. Everything you have linked in this argument is traceable back to Adrian Zenz. This is why media literacy is so important. Go digging through your “news” articles and see if you can find the source for their claims. You will find that there is a massive web of “sources” that are all self referential for this particular topic and they all trace back to things published by Adrian Zenz. Zenz’s original reporting has been thoroughly debunked because his reporting was bad faith speculation on cherry-picked datasets with forced interpretations. But none of the derivative articles have ever been retracted and none of have changed their position.
Dessalines is not telling you that everyone who disagrees is an anti-Semite. They are saying that all of your sources traceback to the same anti-Semite
There’s a difference between calling someone delusional and accusing them of believing there’s a conspiracy. There is literally a conspiracy. But the commenter may be delusional.
There is literally a conspiracy happening between the trump admin and bukele. Like literally secret meetings to discuss and plan criminal acts and keep them from scrutiny
This is real propaganda shit. Grasping at straw to make a non-story into a vehicle for sinophobic rhetoric.
It’s going to be based on when retailers pay the price. Most retailers have inventory from before the tarrifs still.
Come on! Consulates are cheap compared to military bases. Close some overseas bases!
Here we go. It was foretold. Now let’s see what happens. This could be the moment where Europe gives the US a wedgie.
You clearly have zero idea of the history of the Taiwan situation. The Island of Taiwan is and has been a part of the country of China for over a century. During the Chinese civil war, the losing army fled the mainland and retreated over the water to the island. The US and UK intervened with war ships and blockaded the island to protect the loser of the civil war. Why? Because the US and UK were already building relationships with the KMT to maintain their neocolonial holdings over China and they wanted the communists to lose so they could continue exploiting the people of China.
So now we have an island in China occupied by Chinese people and Chinese military but defended by Europe and what happens? Well, the KMT goes full fascist and executes the brutal and bloody White Terror for the next several decades while the US and UK protect them from their own countrymen, and feed them everything they need to develop their society on a foundation of brutal fascism and political repression.
What do you think happens when an entire population of people are isolated from their own society by abusers and develop under conditions when you get murdered by the state for even talking about the fact that you’re all one China? You get the current political situation.
Taiwan as we know it is not and has never been a separate country from China. It has been a neocolonial project to isolate and abuse a portion of China by force to benefit the abuser and not the abused.
Nothing would be better for the people living on the island of Taiwan than for the Western empire to collapse and for slow integration with the rest of their country to begin. Everything would improve - economics, physical health, mental health, culture, crime, democracy, education, environmentalism, production, quality of life, etc.
These “land grabs” were literally Russia delivering consequences to the US for their constant escalation. The annexation of Crimea followed the Euromaidan coup that saw John McCain and Victoria Nuland on the ground and in the planning of how the far right on Ukraine would take over and set the stage for NATO nuclear capabilities coming to the Ukraine-Russia border. Joint operations between NATO and Ukraine started at the end of 2013. Over the next several years these exercises saw B-52 strategic nuclear bombers flying in Ukraine, a simulated invasion of Kaliningrad, and open ethnic cleansing of ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine.
Your framing of the US/West needing to “respond” to “Russian aggression” is so far removed from reality it’s literally an inversion. Until you are capable of seeing the aggression of the USA, you will not be capable of analyzing what’s actually happening.
I think this is a particularly nuanced position on the part of China. They are attempting to deflate Trump’s political posturing. He could keep raising tariffs to make himself seem like a winner, so they chose to mock him and they backed that mockery up by saying we won’t respond to this line of harassment anymore because we have maximally defenses against it. If Trump was only doing tariffs, this would be the end of it, but China is anticipating that without the ability to continue narrative manipulation via tariffs, the US could begin expanding its attack on China via non-tariff means (and likely is already preparing to do so). So, instead of saying that they are no longer playing the game, they are saying that they are no longer effected by this particular line of attack and that they will continue defending against any new lines of attack.
I don’t know if they will take such actions to respond to further tariff hikes, but it seems like they might not.
Hellz f’ing yes, fellow penguin!! So glad I could help!
It is. I run mint 22.1 as well. The Mint team ended up with a pipewire version that was mostly contemporary but a Wireplumber version that was legacy. It made configuration a nightmare. Once I upgraded Wireplumber, I was able to actually configure it and all my problems went away
I think that installing pulseaudio + pipewire will be problematic, at least that’s what I’ve read. I recommend uninstalling pulseaudio, getting the PPA version of Wireplumber and reporting back with your outcomes. Make sure pipewire-pulse is installed
Mint 22 is on pipewire now. You need to get rid of pulseaudio, go with pipewire and the pipewire-pulse compat layer. I had major problems until I installed an upgraded Wireplumber to 0.5 from ppa:pipewire-debian/pipewire-upstream
After that, you may have further issues with your configuration, and I would start by looking at your syslog for errors indicating what might be happening.
I think it’s more about them getting more confident in the US’s inability to harm it or more confident that they cannot prevent the US from harming it by being passive.
No. UN and related independent NGOs have shown their cards. They cannot be trusted. ICANN is the quintessential example of an ossified vulturous bureaucracy laser focused on oligarchic control. And the ITU has designs to rewrite current Internet protocols to have a fee structure built in at the packet level to ensure no packed flow without someone paying money.
We cannot trust the systems we have now. We must focus on diversifying income sources for us to be safe
LOL, VAT is cheating?
So let’s say sea levels are on the rise everywhere, right? And then let’s say a journalist says “something strange is going on in the Indian Ocean, it’s rising”, yeah? And they never once mention anything about any other oceans. Would that be appropriate journalism? If someone says “Hey, all oceans are rising” are you gonna say “that’s whataboutery”?
No, you’re not. So when propaganda is on the rise globally, with the USA and Europe leading the pack as they have been for several hundred years, and someone writes an article about Chinese propaganda being on the rise, and they work for one of the propaganda outlets of an enemy of China, do you think that would appropriate journalism?
Let’s go Keysenianismo!
