It was good if you wanted to bring a game and your save to a friend’s place to play together.
That never happened to me though because I have no friends.

Boy do I have a story for you.
I tried to order a quesadilla from chipotle. An online exclusive. Turns out online ordering for the location nearest me was broken so I went in and explained that I was unable to order it, and I asked if I can just get one anyway. They flat out said no.
They refused to sell me a cheese quesadilla simply because it wasn’t ordered through their app/site which was broken. I just left and got food somewhere else.
I’ve been boycotting chipotle ever since.
I really hate the “it’s for kids” argument. Let alone the fact that adults play the games too. It’s for everyone.
I’m more of a Swiss Army knife. I can do a lot but I’m not that great at any of it.
Give me more reasons to not visit!
I’d argue profit and control are two sides of the same coin
I don’t disagree with anything you said. It is a privileged position to take, and I’m not denying that. This is the real life trolly problem.
I think I’m getting tired of people putting survival over standing up to the system.
Should people that still work at Twitter get a pass for the destruction it’s doing because there are lower level employees that need a paycheck to survive? How about employees at Google that indirectly enable Google to amass data at such a large scale it becomes impossible to have any privacy?
I understand the need to survive. Does a McDonalds worker lose anything by not turning the guy in? Is 50k worth the potential long term gain for society if the rich become fearful?
Maybe after a certain point even those trying to survive should share the blame for the negativity their contributions bring. Where that line is, I’m not sure.
This transaction feels like a bribe to keep the poors in check. “Here’s enough money for a small trailer to live in. Have fun.”
I don’t care. Do you?
I own a pair. You do lose some functionality without the app. The ability to change the light colors, set and recall presets.
You can still tighten them without the app. And I think you can set one preset as well (not sure tbh)
They announced the sunsetting of the app like 2 months ago but the media is capitalizing on the announcement now for some reason. It sucks but it’s not the end of the world not having the app.
This is not the flex you think it is
