Yes, Hasbro wants to make another Baldur’s Gate game that continues to “raise the bar” without Larian
Pfffffff… Hasbro has a great reputation for being greedy as fuck, and completely deaf blind and dumb to what fans love and enjoy about established IPs. So I’m sure whatever travesty they release will be just great 👍
That’s nice…wonder how much the growing excitement for the Skyblivion project and the progress they’ve been making influenced Bethesda’s decision to remaster Oblivion. My guess is that they caught wind a while back, saw people were interested, and decided that there’s enough interest to churn out a “quick” remaster, try and beat Skyblivion to completion, and milk the cash cow dry.
It’ll almost certainly be a muddy sepia, soulless, bugged to all fuck travesty. Hope the Skyblivion team is able/allowed to complete the project. I’d be super angry if they were sent a cease and desist…
Nah, young folk these days just don’t want to work. They need to buckle down, pull on the ol’ bootstraps, and work a part time job at the factory while going to college. No reason that shouldn’t support a family of 4 with a single income!
Like the article in this post! Apparently Valve updating a game’s deck compatibility rating is “VaLvE hAs SeCrEt AgENdA!”
It’s worth noting that it was the cable that suffered unambiguous damage here, not the graphics card or even, seemingly, the power connector or socket.
This says to me, a dumbfuck stone mason with limited electrics experience, it’s possibly an issue with the cable. Though the issue with the cable may never have presented itself if it weren’t for how Nvidia, apparently, routes all 12v lines into a single line on the board.
10 and 15/16ths sadly. It’s being marketed as AI boosted to 12 though!
There’s a solid portion, the most vocal (hopefully) minority, of gamers who thrive on drama. They’ll read this article and hop on the hate waggon. Claim they always hated Valve. And then go brigade the “wokest” game they can find. This article wasn’t written for people who take a second to think.
Another great example of hype-train beastmode is No Man’s Sky. By the time it came out people were talking about it like they’d be plugged into the matrix. That’s the last time I let myself be carried away even slightly by hype. I was super pessimistic about NMS compared to what my friends and people online were expecting. I was still grossly disappointed.
By the time CP77 was getting ready to release I figured it would be a bare bones looter shooter, bugged to all fuck, with a story duct taped to it’s carcass. Essentially DOA. So I was actually pleasantly surprised when it was a quite fleshed out FPS RPGish shooter with the storyline woven solidly through. Still bugged to all fuck though.
Hard agree. Only CEO I think might not be 10000000% a psychotic sociopath is the CEO of Signal…but only cause she’s not said anything I personally disagree with…and a bunch of things I do agree with. That’s not exactly a great metric though…
I feel like after he gets over the slight he’d be fine with it…
Fair enough. Not doing it intentionally. Just a dumbfuck 🤷
Just nitpicking now.
Wasn’t intentionally spreading misinformation. Classic games, as you said, are cheaper. However switch 1 games are still $80. And my point about legally being able to emulate them stands.
I’ll retract my statements on the cost of legacy games here and go back through my previous comments and change them to reflect this.
OP says they switched away from Proton in the first sentence.
