MSRs have negative temperature reactivity coefficient and outlet temps around 700C at atm pressure. PWR is at measly 300C and 150 Bar.
If all control is lost, the salt expands as it heats up pushing the expanded volume out from the reactor core. The fission stops once the fuel is leaves the core region where the moderator is. Reverse is also true: you pull heat off from the loop, so the fuel-salt becomes denser, increasing reactivity. MSRs can naturally “follow” the load, if done right.
Too much water. And it’s all either fresh, slush or solid.
Because of the lack of salt, we have salmiakki. /s

Just mount them somewhere under / device, so if a disk/mount fails the mounts depended on the path can´t also fail.
I keep my permanent mounts at /media/ and I have a udev rule, that all auto mounted media goes there, so /mnt stays empty. A funny case is that my projects BTRFS sub-volume also is mounted this way, although it is technically on the same device.
For example, the new .config directory in the home directory.
I hope slowly but surely no program will ever dump its config(s) as ~/.xyz.conf (or even worse in a program specific ~/.thisapp/;
The ~/.config/ scheme works as long as the programs don’t repeat the bad way of dumping files as ~/.config/thisconfig.txt. (I’m looking at you kde folks…) A unique dir in .config directory should be mandatory.
If I ever need to shed some cruft accumulated over the years in ~/.config/ this would make it a lot easier.
I have begun to see that YT is being hostile to adblocker users - and this worries me. I assume YT is already probing the clients to see which are circumveting the ads.
I had an (let’s say unconventional) idea at one point: an add-on which only purpose is to show the YT ads in the background which uBO blocked. All of the blocked ads would be played (eventually) - except that the user can just ignore this happening in background and wouldn’t be actually seeing the ads. I.e. the browser would just move playing the ads into a background container not visible to the user.
They are 10y behind, I discovered thinking while 12y old and have been igoring it for 20y. Comes handy in a pinch, leaving all others mindblown.

I have been using uBlock Origin and uMatrix together for so long, that I don’t remember when they became permanent must have… uBlock origin sanitizes the site, while uMatrix prevents any surprises since I last visited a site. The more garbage the site is, the more broken it is on my setup.
I recently deleted my +10y (cant remember anymore how old it was) old account. I had not logged in with it since the first exodus.
In my time, I started from the old reddit, saw the changes to more modern UI twice. I “collaborated” with the pixel art canvas event. (twice?) (last was fullout among us dithering) And finally saw the full revolt against spez that ended my journey there. (plus the complete enshittification of the reddit app)
