I got a Gulikitt KK3 Max and have really liked it so far. I got one because I got tired of having to resynv my Elite 2 to the PC via Bluetooth (it NEVER saved it as a device, some kinda issue I imagine switching from Xbox connection to BT), and I wanted to try to get out of the Elite 2 swap every 7 months. No complaints so far, other than I can’t monitor battery level. I like the back paddles more too, they are more spaced than the Elite.
Hall effect sticks, swappable ABXY mechanical buttons, and the triggers can be mechanical switch with the trigger stops engaged. Really nifty controller.
It doesn’t make any sense to me. I feel like all I ever hear is the RBR car is basically tuned to Max, and others have to adapt, and then they get almost no time to adapt.
Not to say I think Lawson should be in that seat, but even if not, 2 races in a car no one can drive isn’t representative of his ability.
Oooooo this is compelling.
Miserable. Source, almost 34
I left Reddit because of the 3rd party app ban. The core ethos of the Fediverse was not what was appealing for me. It is a feature, to be sure, but it wasn’t why I came here. I just like the Reddit format, and aside from Reddit, I don’t know anywhere that aggregates content and discussion on the scale Reddit does (aside from this side of Fediverse now). If it wasn’t the 3rd party applications, I definitely would be jumping ship with the current censorship, so leaving was inevitable.
With Bluesky, I just do not care about it. If Bluesky didn’t exist, I wouldn’t have a Mastodon account. I only had a Twitter account because my brother and friend told me in college that if I didn’t make one, they would make one on my behalf to tweet about me and my daily stuff, lol. Bluesky could come out 3 hours from now and announce that it will donate all revenue to the GOP, and I’d just delete the account and be done with the format. It’s purely a protest account, and I landed on Bluesky instead of Mastodon in the moment. And because I don’t care about that format, I have no reason to want to migrate the account to Mastodon. And, if I somehow do come to care about that format in the future, I’d rather start completely over on Mastodon than have an old account with old stuff on it.
Sure. My goal isn’t to be on the next Twitter, or Mastodon, or anything on short format social media. It’s to make Twitter look worse by inflating Bluesky account numbers.
Idk why anyone argues it. I’m on it, but only because I want to support Not Twitter®. I’m there to just be user no. 1663987 who doesn’t want to be on Twitter. I post a stupid thought, some sports commentary, and scroll the feed for a minute or two. If it went away tomorrow, I’d have 0 negative effects on my life in even the most miniscule way.
Like…I like it there, and people seem to want an alternative to Twitter pretty bad, but idk if Bluesky is it. But I also don’t care to join Mastodon, as this kinda format isn’t something I care about or take seriously, and I’d rather get information here. If I get a Mastodon account in the future, though, I’d rather not have it tied directly back to my spite posting account lol
Happy for Norris, amped for Williams and Albon. Sucks Sainz went out early. Ferrari doing Ferrari shit still, Yuki got screwed a bit. I’m sure conditions jumbled it a bit, but Verstappen not looking as far off the pace as people were assuming, in a worse car, in hard conditions. I’m sure Norris was strategizing and coasting a bit, cause those McLarens held up those initial intermediates well and it seemed other cars were burning through them.
I’ve decided this is the season I let the world know I’m a Williams fan. Love the color. Love the battery. Albon is cool. Sainz is endearing. Great team.
No, I’m an identical twin. Quite literally another me lmao
Idk how Herta isn’t choice 1a. It just fits. 2nd driver is harder. Perez seems like a good choice; has been with a top team recently, had good sponsor money, and could feasibly have some good input on F1 operations. Plus he helps bridge the Mexican fanbase to the team, which is nice geographically.
I wonder if you could do it like the aggregation apps that used to exist for like…FB, Twitter, Instagram, where you can access/post from multiple accounts. My big thing is I hate having a dozen apps that do the same thing; so having an aggregator app is nice. For people who want the singular account, you could see both Bsky and Mastodon. For people like yourself, you could log in to both accounts and have separate feeds, just homed on the same app. And I imagine it’d be nicer, because Activity Pub would be the base, and it could display different UIs based on what information is being pulled, so it isn’t just like a Twitter feed on FB. You could get the Lemmy view on Lemmy, Twitter view on Bsky/Mastodon, Instagram on PixelFed, etc.
I think a lot of it is that it’s direction was a bit different. Halo was built on basically immortal Master Chief. Reach had Spartan 3s, which weren’t as “Master Chief”-y, and we see every one of em die on screen as part of the story. That is a pretty stark contrast to Chief never dying. Additionally, if IIRC, the multiplayer was meh, and multiplayer was a huuuuge deal at that time. The story was great (even despite what people said about it at the time) but the multiplayer didn’t carry the game, so it was generally a “play the story, go back to Halo 3” kinda game.
My perspective on it, tho.
Someone is wrong lol. NFL, for example, cannot do anything outside of Twitter at this time. They are apparently working on it, but it’s gotta be implemented league-wide, so it’s taking some time. Idk if they’re even trying to get onto Mastodon, last I heard it was just Bluesky.
This is a large org with hundreds of millions of fans, with no presence on Fediverse really. I’m sure there are mirror accounts, but none are official.
Alternatively, someone who is posting unpopular shit gets downvoted of their own accord, and blames it on politics. Almost assuredly has shouted “leave politics out of blank” but then injects politics into everything.
I’ll take this over the Kick 1990 Clip Art color fade. Looks like a paintball gun from the early 2000s. The only element on the car is the two tone wheel covers being green up front and black in the rear. 0 shapes, 0 design. Just 45 degree line to delineate fade behind the driver.
They’re all uninspired; it’s all a team color with a bunch of corporate logos. The best element on the grid is a Duracell battery
Oh look it’s Alfa Romeo Ferrari
I’d take that over the current setup for the time being.
