What’s the relation with NordVPN ? Are other VPN providers I.e mullivad better ?

Why ? Asking seriously because they got multiple certifications about their no-logs policy done by independent third parties.

Why is NordVPN not mentioned ? I’m using it and happy so far. Should I switch to something else ?

I don’t get the argument. It’s not like you are forced to buy iPhones, there a plenty of brands available. According to recent data iOS is 30% of the market while android is almost 70% (in Europe). I used android phones for most of my life. I tried to install alternative OS few time but my banking apps all refused to execute. There were always plenty of apps that were forbidden to remove (Facebook, Samsung applications,…). Then 4 years ago I bought an iPhone. No preinstalled shitty news app, Facebook, etc. Was even able to uninstall the default apps that I do not use. I feel to have much more freedom than before. Apple is not perfect by any means but it’s far from being a prison.

It has a proper rich text WYSIWYG editor. It does not demand you learn FUCKING MARKDOWN. JESUS H CHRIST I DO NOT WANT TO LEARN A FUCKING SYNTAX TO MAKE NOTES, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?

I’m curious about this agressive stance. Why is markdown so triggering for you ? I get the pros of WYSIWYG but it has also some cons. On Lemmy for instance you use markdown without even noticing ?

I use Obsidian and I’m happy with it. The markdown syntax is really easy and it’s « almost » WYSIWYG because you see the markdown only at your cursor. It even has a plugin for excalidraw.

After having finally migrated everything to azure and AWS, will we have to go back on premise ? 🫢

I pay less than 100 € per year for the subscription which is like 3 coffees per months and I have the basic plan with LR Classic, Photoshop, 20GB of online storage which is good to let me edit the shootings on my phone during the daily commute to work. Lightroom mobile and web are not at the level of Lightroom Classic. It does not offer all the options from proton but I bought my own domain from OVH provider (France). Can configure email addresses in their admin user interface. I have one main account that I do not disclose. So when I need to create an account somewhere, I just go to OVH web interface and create a new alias for my main email.

The day OVH goes dark, I’ll just have to move my domain somewhere else.
