I’d actually never heard this angle but sounds legit. Cutting corners sounds pretty typical of talking head yltyoes that want to try to cut costs no matter what.

I’ll be honest I find the ray tracing shit s gimmick that eats up too much resource. I’d much rather just have some awesome games to play, with good looks or not. PC gaming for me has always been about variety anyway. The console looking better never meant anything.

I feel like mods should be protected like ‘right to repair’. I know that seems a bit extreme but seriously, these people devote their time to create insane content, more often than not for free. Ugh, actually upset by this news. Been pretty tired of the duopoly that’s been going on and was excited to try something new. Don’t get me wrong AMD is decent but more competition in the market would have been great.

I mean, the game has been out for over a year. They probably kept it the previous way for more challenge / engagement for streamers or something. I’m glad they’re introducing it, and will probably reinstall and start playing it again. I’m also glad they’re actually trying to release some actual content, even though it’s just a variation of the same gameplay. The customization options they offered for runs was good as well, but just wasn’t enough to get me hooked again. Hoping this will.

God I really needed this. Finally some positivity against the insanity. Glad we are finding our backbone!

I had a rough night, unable to sleep, kept up by my failures and lack of productivity haunting me. Was up literally all night. That morning was probably the most clear headed I’d been, got a bunch of shit done while just utterly exhausted. What the fuck brain.
