1 month agoThis sounds great. If you end up writing something for the other commenter using a Linux server and the Messenger bridge I would love to hear if there were any pitfalls to avoid!

I think it refers to a cap (hat), because culturally when you take off your cap it means you are being truthful. Similar to the term “hat in hand”I looked into it more and seems like the origins of cap meaning to lie is unclear. So looks like I was off base

Am I making a mistake by having my Jellyfin server proxied through nginx? The other service I set up did need to be public so I just copied the same thing when I set up Jellyfin but is that a liability even with a password to access?
Yeah, Emirates might use this route. But US airlines would avoid Russia, Ukraine, Iran, and Syria, which forces then to fly much longer and approach over Iraq and across the Gulf.
