6 months ago15ish years ago when Seagate was having lots of issues with their 2TB externals getting the click o’ doom I lost 6 2TB drives over 2 years.
The data was just data, easily re-acquirable, but fuck that was a pain in the ass.

10·7 months agoThat is not universal. My local university forces you to pay to live on campus in the dorms for the first 2 years of your attendance regardless. You can choose to live elsewhere but you’re still paying the fees and no student is paying for two places to live lmao

I wouldn’t say huge as by most estimations that have been stated over the last 3 or 4 years, old Reddit accounts for only 1 or 2 percent of Reddit users (assuming that’s accurate), but there’ll definitely be an exodus
