I don’t even use import tariffs in Victoria 3, the game about overthrowing all the protectionist monarchies in Europe by leaving their economies in the dust because it’s a bad system.
Export tariffs are cool though. It’s the only way to keep the UK from taking all my tools, iron and steel and driving up the cost of running my construction sectors.
